The Immigrant Coalition of Rhode Island kicked off its Driver’s Licenses for All campaign
On Tuesday, March 10th at the State house Library, the Immigrant Coalition of Rhode Island kicked off its Driver’s Licenses for All campaign. The campaign supports legislation, S2416 and H7712, that will increase the accessibility of applying for a driver’s license for all Rhode Islanders, have an economic and social benefit to the state, and promote public safety. 15 states and the District of Columbia already do this. Legislation was passed in New York last year.
